Christopher Norwood is the founder and Chief Market Strategist for Norwood Economics. Mr. Norwood holds a B.S. from Davidson College and an MPA from The University of Colorado.


He obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 1999. The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter is a credential established in 1962 and awarded by the CFA Institute. To earn the CFA charter, candidates must: 1) pass three sequential, six-hour examinations; 2) have at least four years of qualified investment work experience; 3) join the CFA Institute as members; and 4) commit to abide by, and annually reaffirm, their adherence to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.


Mr. Norwood was an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Butler University’s Lacy School of Business from 2016-2019. He has over three decades of investing experience including managing Keystone Fund for 12 years. Barron’s Magazine named Keystone Fund a top alternative investment fund in 2001.


Mr. Norwood was a founding partner of Biechele Royce Advisors in 1997. He was Chief Market Strategist for Wallington Asset Management from 2007-2009. From 1994-2007 he was Chief Investment Officer at Thunderbird Management.


From 1982-1998 he was an Officer and Pilot in the United States Air Force.
