About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Norris has been the Director of Client Services at Norwood Economics since 2016. She specializes in defined contribution and defined benefit plans. As an expert in defined contribution and defined benefit plans, she uses her knowledge and experience to craft plan designs that minimize employer cost, reduce plan administration, and increase employee participation. Elizabeth invests the time getting to know her clients so that she can better understand their needs, wants, and goals. Her values align with Norwood Economics in that cost-effective employer sponsored retirement plans shouldn’t come at the expense of superior service and education. She believes that financial wellness is a key component to employee retention and a successful retirement.


She began her career as Manager of Campaign Operations and Development for ArtsMarketing Services in Toronto. ArtsMarketing is an outsourced marketing, development, and finance firm for nonprofit arts in North America. She also served as Project Finance Manager for Collective, a New York based design firm that provides design and brand-building for national and regional organizations (MoMA, GE) with a focus on integrated marketing and development.  


She is a graduate of Winthrop University with a BA in Journalism and Art History. She holds an MA in Writing from Indiana University. She enjoys hiking America’s National Parks and weekend brunch with friends.
